SANTA CLARA – 49ers tight end George Kittle was discussing the movie “Joker” with a reporter Thursday near his locker when the conversation turned to his own recent theatrical performance.
NFL Films on Sunday captured video and audio of Kittle and Joe Staley engaging in humorous ad-libbed conversation on the 49ers’ sideline. Kittle said it was an impromptu moment.

Kittle said the comedy sketch took place right before the start of the second half of the 49ers’ game Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. The score might have been tied, 7-7, but you would have had no idea it was a high-pressure moment.
“We were just having a good time,” Kittle said. “I saw a microphone, so I got Staley to start talking. And I threw a Canadian accent in there, and he just went with it.”
Kittle said he has pulled out his Canadian accent from time to time since his college days at Iowa.
