Move over Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez. We have the next great romance to come out of The Bronx.
Let's call it a bromance.
John Spencer, the A's fan living in New York who had beer thrown on him at the end of the AL Wild Card Game last Wednesday, has a new BFF and it's Chris, the guy who threw the beer on Spencer.
They appeared to bury the hatchet a few days ago. On Tuesday, they went back to the scene of the crime.
Four days after they got drinks together in New York, Chris invited John to go to Game 4 of the American League Division Series on Tuesday.
While Chris' Yankees saw their season come to an end against the Red Sox Tuesday night, it looked like John and Chris had a great time. But now that the baseball season is over, can their friendship transcend baseball? Will We see them watching the Knicks together? Stay tuned...
Anyway, here are photos and videos of their night at Yankee Stadium:
My new friend Chris (of beer throwing fame) has tickets to see the Yankees / Red Sox game 4 tomorrow and invited me to come with him. Figured I might as well rock my A's / Chavez jersey again right? If you're at the game come say hi.— John Spencer (@johnnyplaydrums) October 8, 2018
Thanks Chris for the ticket tonight! Make friends not enemies pic.twitter.com/Qqhe1pQ5PR— John Spencer (@johnnyplaydrums) October 10, 2018
We’re glad these two were able to bury the pint. 🙌 pic.twitter.com/vDrWg25P1K— Cut4 (@Cut4) October 10, 2018
