Dave Stewart, Dallas Braden supporting Coaching Corps on #GivingTuesday

#GivingTuesday was launched on Tuesday to provide the power of giving back into local communities. The A’s made sure to do their own part, with a little help from former Oakland pitching legends.

The movement is supporting Coaching Corps, and three-time World Series champion pitcher Dave Stewart is among those who will help match donations of up to $50,000.

Former A's pitcher and current NBC Sports California analyst Dallas Braden has also announced his participation:

You can donate directly through Coaching Corps here.

Coaching Corps’ website explained the donations will be matched dollar-by-dollar by the Challenge Match Champions, which will “double the difference you can make for the kids and families who need our help the most.”

The mission of Coaching Corps is to ensure kids get to “reap the benefits of playing sports with a trained, caring coach.”

NBC Sports Bay Area and California host the Game Changer Awards annually for local athletes to honor the coaches and mentors who had the biggest impact on their careers.
