The Arizona Diamondbacks roster overhaul has extended by bolstering their bullpen.

Arizona has agreed to a two-year deal with reliever Tyler Clippard.

Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports was first to announce the report. The club later confirmed the deal on their official Twitter account.

The D'backs and Clippard agreed to a two-year, $12.25 million contract.

Clippard, who turns 31 on Valentine's Day, spent the 2015 season with the Oakland A's and New York Mets. The A's traded Clippard to the Mets on July 27, 2015 for minor league pitcher Corey Meisner.
