Remember when 1-4-3 was a thing? Well, 2-4-7 is really a thing for Khris Davis.
The A's slugger is Mr. Consistency, even when the games don't count. Davis made MLB history last season by finishing the year with a .247 batting average for an almost comical fourth straight time. It turns out this is pretty much always his batting average.
Via Michael Freidin in the @EWPod Facebook group, not only has Khris Davis hit exactly .247 each of the last four seasons, but he's also a career .247 hitter in Spring Training. 🤯 pic.twitter.com/ImQNpuzHv5— Ryan Thibodaux (@NotMrTibbs) March 7, 2019
Not only does Davis always hit .247 in the regular season, he does so in spring training, too. That's right, he has a .247 career batting average in the spring. But soon, that number could change.
If Davis can stay consistent with his power numbers and hit 48 home runs again in 2019, he's set for a hefty payday when he becomes a free agent at the end of this season.
