For the second straight year, the A's corner infielders are golden.

Oakland first baseman Matt Olson and third baseman Matt Chapman each won their second career Gold Glove Award on Sunday.

Shortstop Marcus Semien and left fielder Robbie Grossman came up short in their bid for their first career honors. Cleveland's Francisco Lindor won the AL Gold Glove at shortstop, while Kansas City's Alex Gordon took home the Gold Glove for AL left fielders.

Chapman, 26, led the AL with a 13.0 SABR Defensive Index ranking, trailing only Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed for the major league lead. Chapman led the majors with a 14.8 ultimate zone rating, and his 18 defensive runs saved topped all third basemen. The reigning AL Platinum Glove Award winner also led AL third basemen in fielding percentage (.981) and zone rating (.834).

Olson led major league first basemen with 13 defensive runs saved and a 6.6 ultimate zone rating, despite missing 34 games with a hand injury. The 25-year-old also led AL first basemen in putouts and assists. Olson's 5.8 SABR Defensive Index ranking topped major league first basemen.

Semien, 29, led AL shortstops with a .981 fielding percentage, along with 436 assists and 85 double plays. He also ranked second with 186 putouts and a 7.8 SABR Defensive Index ranking. Semien started all 162 games at shortstop.

Grossman played 129 games without committing a single error. The 30-year-old led AL left fielders with a 5.8 SABR Defensive Index ranking and was sixth among AL outfielders with a 3.9 ultimate zone rating.
