After hitting 24 dingers in 2018, Chapman already has launched 21 round-trippers so far this season. That's tied for the sixth-most in the majors.
Chapman becomes the first member of the A's to participate in the Home Run Derby since Josh Donaldson in 2014,

The 26-year-old third baseman will be joined in the contest by Pete Alonso, Ronald Acuna Jr., Josh Bell, Alex Bregman, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Joc Pederson and Carlos Santana.
