The A's reportedly have signed left-handed pitcher Donnie Hart to a minor league deal.'s Mark Feinsand had the report on the reliever's agreement Tuesday.

Hart, 29, has four seasons of major league experience across three teams.

Last season with the New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers (in only five games), he struck out three and walked four in 7.2 innings. 

In four big-league seasons, he posted a 3.13 ERA in 89 seasons.

In November, Hart rejected his outright assignment to Triple-A Syracuse. He wanted to hit the free agency market to see if there was a better fit for him.

Feinsand also reported the signing includes an invite to big league camp.
