MLB trade deadline: Where does Tanner Roark fit in A's rotation?

Share

The A's were active during Wednesday's MLB trade deadline, acquiring starting pitcher Tanner Roark from the Reds. Roark will plug in right away to the A's starting rotation, which desperately needs pitching depth.

Many people thought the A's might make a huge splash at the deadline -- acquiring someone like Noah Syndergaard or Madison Bumgarner -- but they did not make any franchise-altering moves.

A's reporter Ben Ross joined the NBC Sports' MLB Trade Deadline Show and discussed expectations for Roark, where he will fit in with the A's rotation and the deadline as a whole.

Check out Ross' analysis in the clip above.
