A's vs. Cubs lineups: Jurickson Profar at second base in series finale

Share

As the A's look to take a three-game road series from the Cubs at Wrigley Field, manager Bob Melvin has made one slight change to his lineup.

Jurickson Profar is back at second base and batting seventh. Chad Pinder moves from second to left field, replacing Robbie Grossman.

After enjoying his best month of the season in June, Profar hit just .188 in July and is off to a slow start this month, too. Between July and August, Profar only has 12 hits in his last 63 at-bats.

The 26-year-old is slashing .210/.274/.392 this year, but he does have 15 home runs. The A's made history Tuesday with their 10th player hitting their 10th home run, and they'll look to keep the power alive in the series finale.

Here are the full lineups for the A's-Cubs game, which will be broadcast on NBC Sports California and the MyTeams app. Coverage begins at 10:30 a.m. PT, with first pitch at 11:20 a.m. PT.
