The A's face a win-or-go-home situation Wednesday against the Chicago White Sox in the AL Wild Card Series after falling 4-1 in Game 1.

Chris Bassitt takes the mound for the A's in Oakland, and he has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this month. The 31-year-old was named the AL Pitcher of the Month after going 3-0 with a 0.34 ERA in the last month of the regular season.

On the other side, the White Sox will hand the ball to Dallas Keuchel. The veteran lefty went 6-2 with a 1.99 ERA this season. He also has a 3.47 career ERA in the playoffs.

The A's are looking to win their first playoff game since 2013.
