Yankee superfan Turturro's NSFW shoutout to Melvin, Kemp

When the New York Yankees lose, it becomes national news. That was the case on Friday night when the team lost to the Athletics, 5-3, after a great performance on the mound by James Kaprielian and a go-ahead home run by Tony Kemp.

Actor Nick Turturro (Big Nick), a Brooklyn native, is known for his rants about his beloved Yankees on Twitter. He stuck to his routine on Friday night, but paid respect to A’s manager Bob Melvin and has kept it going throughout the series (warning: NSFW).

“Bob Melvin, one of the best in the business,” Turturro said in a video on Twitter Friday night. “A couple of years ago I was like, ‘The Yankees got to go after this guy.’”

New York ultimately chose Aaron Boone as their successor, and while it appears to be playing out in their favor, it’s nice to see when an opposing fan tips his cap to the A’s.

Big Nick continued his rants on Saturday.

Kemp, who continues to be hot at the plate, hit a home run in the first inning to put the A’s on the board, 1-0.

Turturro once again took to Twitter and gave his uncensored thoughts.

“Tony Kemp again,” he said. “Oh my God. Guy is like the new f--king Babe Ruth. He’s the Bambino, he’s my size -- that the short porch, what can you do.”

In right field at Yankee Stadium, the wall sits at 314 feet from home plate. Sure, it could make some of those fly balls a little less honest, but a lefty takes advantage of it when he can.

Turturro has been known for his roles in “Blue Bloods,” “NYPD Blue,” “The Longest Yard,” and most recently, his videos on Twitter ranting about the Yankees.
