HAPPY OPENING DAY!

Baseball is finally back in the Bay Area and we couldn’t be more excited for Giants and A's baseball.

Bruce Bochy and Bob Melvin's squads have *very* different expectations for the upcoming season.

The A’s are coming off one of their best seasons in recent history with 97 wins. After an early exit in the Wild Card game last season, there are high hopes for this team to make a deep postseason run in 2019.

The Giants, on the other hand, are in a bit of a different situation. Coming off a 73-win season, expectations aren't high for the team that has already won three World Series Championships this decade. This team doesn’t look like it has in the past, but you never know with the Giants -- especially in Bochy's last season.

If you missed Opening Day, or if you weren’t connected on social media, or you just LOVE baseball ... we got you.

Here’s a quick rundown of what Bay Area Opening Day looked like on Twitter.

Who's excited for Opening Day?

Not the best stat for the Giants.

FACTS.

MC Hammer’s pumped.

Poetic.

Another day, another Khrush Bomb.

First W of the season.

Unfortunately, something we’ve seen way too often.

There are still 161 more games ...

Here's to a great 2019 season!

Happy 30th to the wife of No. 30.

Ayesha Curry, the wife of Warriors star Steph Curry, celebrated her birthday Friday night in typical Curry fashion.

She threw a Caribbean-themed party, full of family, friends and celebrities.

Not gonna lie, the event looked pretty awesome.

Check out some of the clips that we found on social media.

Is it a coincidence that Steph is taking a “rest day” on Saturday?

March Madness standout Ja Morant is a huge fan of Steph Curry

It’s clear that Murray State sophomore guard Ja Morant has a high Basketball IQ.

Not only is he one of the best college basketball players in the country, but as Twitter user @BaySean pointed out, he’s also a huge Steph Curry fan.

Similar to Steph's Davidson run in 2008, Morant has taken March Madness by storm.

On Thursday, Ja lifted No. 12 seed Murray State over No. 5 seed Marquette in upset fashion.

Let’s take a closer look at some of these tweets.

He also tweeted about that LeBron guy.

His game even looks a bit like Steph's.

Steph took Davidson to the elite eight. Can one of Curry's biggest fans take his own school on a magical March Madness run?

Either way, Ja Morant is the man. Let’s go Murray State.
