Kings Guard Gaming went a perfect 8-0 in the first-ever Coast to Coast Cup to take first place in the two-day, round-robin tournament.
The two-day tournament, which took place on March 23 and 24, consisted of four NBA 2K League teams including Kings Guard Gaming, Warriors Gaming Squad, Hornets Venom GT and Gen.G Tigers of Shanghai.
Kings Guard faced off against Gen.G Tigers in the finals. Both games of the three-game set were ultimately blowouts, which was nothing new in the tournament for Kings Guard.

Each matchup in the tournament was a best of three set. However, Kings Guard never reached a third game in any of the matchups.
They started off the tournament hot against Warriors Gaming Squad with a 76-45 win in Game 1 and a 83-51 win in Game 2.
Next up was Gen.G Tigers, which kept the first game close, only losing by three points, before being blown out in the second game of the set. Kings Guard was led by Bash in the second game, posting 41 points and 12 assists.
In the third matchup of the tournament, Kings Guard took care of Hornets Venom in two games, securing their spot in the finals of the tournament. Nasthetic put on an offensive showcase in the two games, averaging 37.5 points and 8.5 assists.
Although this tournament didn't have a money prize and wasn't an official 2K League tournament, Kings Guard balled out for bragging rights and can use this as a nice springboard into the start of the 2K League season, whenever the start date is determined.
