Giants mascot Lou Seal evidently knew Crawford would hit Game 1 homer

Before Brandon Crawford even connected on his mammoth home run Friday night in the Giants' NLDS Game 1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, Lou Seal seemed to have a premonition (h/t Jomboy Media).

The morning after, the Giants mascot's Twitter account credited his experience around the team for "just knowing" the pitch to Crawford would result in something great.

Crawford's 407-foot blast to center field padded the Giants' lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, although a dominant performance from starter Logan Webb and strong relief outings from Tyler Rogers and Camilo Doval kept the elite Dodgers offense from getting any runs across Friday.

After hearing MVP chants leading up to the opener of the NLDS, Crawford proved just how valuable he is to the Giants, both with his bat and his glove.

The series continues Saturday night, with Game 2 from Oracle Park.
