Dodgers fan cutout gets second-row seat for Giants' 2020 home opener

We know there are a lot of Los Angeles transplants in San Francisco, but this is a bit ridiculous.

A Dodgers fan took advantage of the Giants' cardboard cutout program, and had one placed in a really, really expensive seat at Oracle Park.

With fans not allowed in big league stadiums, the Giants became the first team to offer fans a chance to purchase a cardboard cutout and have an image of them printed on it. The cost was $99. Other teams, including the Oakland A's copied the idea soon after the Giants announced their plan.

The Giants just wrapped up a four-game series with the rival Dodgers in Los Angeles where they managed to pull off an improbable split with the National League favorites.

Whoever this Dodgers fan is, it takes real dedication to give the rival $99 of your hard-earned money to put a cardboard cutout in their ballpark.

While I don't applaud a cardboard cutout of a Dodgers fan in Oracle Park, I have to applaud this specific Dodgers fan for going to this great length.
