Kapler admires Wade Jr. BP home runs in LA ahead of Game 3

Gabe Kapler couldn't help but stand and watch LaMonte Wade Jr. crush home run after home run during batting practice at Dodger Stadium on Sunday ahead of Game 3 of the NLDS.

The Giants could use some power from Wade Jr. as they prepare for a critical game against the Los Angeles Dodgers and three-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer.

So far through two NLDS games, Wade Jr. has yet to record a hit. The outfielder was responsible for one of the Giants' two runs in Game 2 after drawing a walk and scoring on a Brandon Crawford base hit.

Wade Jr. has been remarkably effective in clutch situations for the Giants in 2021, and the pressure is on the Giants going into Game 3. A loss to the Dodgers would set up a potential elimination game in Chavez Ravine on Tuesday.

Hopefully for the Giants, Wade Jr. can carry over that batting practice power and knock one over the fences Monday night.
