Renel Brooks-Moon has announced countless names over her career as the Giants' public address announcer. Since 2000, her voice has resonated across the stadium to the cheer of thousands of fans.

From Barry Bonds to Buster Posey and beyond, Brooks-Moon has been the voice of the Giants since they opened what's now known as Oracle Park. Along the way, she has loved finding ways to say unique names. The Cespedes Family BBQ crew asked Brooks-Moon who have been her favorite players to announce, and they're some legendary names.

"Oh yes, I get this a lot," Brooks-Moon said on the "Baseball BBQ" podcast. "Jarrod Saltalamacchia. Jarrod Saltalamacchia is fantastic. Nomar Garciaparra. I would always pause. Garcia ... parra! And Gerardo Parra, I'd pause for him as well.

"He seems to enjoy it."

While she was able to have fun whenever Parra came to the plate for the Giants last season, Brooks-Moon also found the perfect player to announce during the Bay Bridge Series. From 2010 through 2016, the Oakland native couldn't wait for the two Bay Area teams to square off.

"When Coco Crisp would lead off for Oakland -- I don't know why I do this dramatic pause thing," Brooks-Moon said. "I remember 'Now leading off for Oakland, number four, Coco ... Crisp!' I'd take this long pause, and one time he looked up and smiled at me in the booth.

"It was so fantastic!"

Brooks-Moon has spent 20 seasons in the booth for the Giants. She has announced multiple World Series games. Last season, however, she got quite the treat when the Giants called up outfielder Mike Yastrzemski.

As a baseball fan from birth, Brooks-Moon never expected to announce the name Yastrzemski after following Mike's grandfather, Carl, star throughout his Hall of Fame career for the Boston Red Sox.

"Dude, I got goosebumps," she said. "When I finally met him a couple weeks later, I was like 'Never in a million years did I think that was a name I was going to announce in the booth.' He's fantastic, too.

"What a great young man he is."
