Giants, Dodgers victims of big strike zone in Game 3 of NLDS

The wild wind isn't the only storyline affecting Game 3 of the National League Division Series between the Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

For the second straight game, the home plate umpire has Twitter fed up. Instead of Angel Hernandez, this time it's crew chief Ted Barrett causing tweets with some not-so-nice words early into the third contest of this series between two bitter rivals.

While Giants starting pitcher Alex Wood has had some inside pitches called in his favor, Barrett's zone seems to be favoring Dodgers starter Max Scherzer quite a bit.

An angry Jalynne Crawford, the wife of Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford, chimed in as well.

In the regular season, Barrett ranked 83rd out of 99 umpires based on overall accuracy. Throughout the entire season, he has been near the bottom of the bunch.

If there's one thing baseball fans like to yell about on Twitter, it's the umpires -- especially in the playoffs. So far, Barrett isn't doing himself any favors as the Giants and Dodgers look to take a two-games-to-one lead in this best-of-five series.
