Crawford, Yaz go back-to-back with perfectly placed bunts

Work smart, not hard.

Brandon Crawford took that to heart Sunday in the season finale between the Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers at Oracle Park. After walking and smashing an RBI double in his first two at-bats against Dodgers ace Walker Buehler, Crawford came up to bat for a third time in the fifth inning.

And in a 1-1 count, he laid down one of the more perfectly placed bunts that you'll ever see.

Crawford's bunt hugged the line until it collided with the third base bag, and there was nothing the Dodgers could do to stop him from reaching base for a third straight time. He was caught stealing during Mike Yastrzemski's ensuing at-bat, thereby ending the inning, but that wasn't the last of the Giants' perfectly placed bunts.

Yastrzemski opened the bottom of the sixth with one down the first base line.

The Giants are on pace to break the franchise record for home runs. But clearly, they can bunt with the best of 'em, too.
