Bryant joins elite company in first playoff game with Giants

It was a Giants postseason debut to remember for slugger Kris Bryant.

A 3-for-3 night at the plate was capped off by a booming home run to left field, extending the Giants lead to 3-0 in Game 1 of the NLDS.

The home run knocked Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler out of the game after 6 1/3 innings pitched.

Bryant's homer not only extended the Giants' lead over the rival Dodgers but placed him in elite company alongside one Giants legend.

The Hall of Famer and Bryant, the four-time All-Star and 2016 NL MVP. Now that's pretty good company.

Bryant's homer, paired with Buster Posey's first-inning two-run shot, provided starting pitcher Logan Webb (7 2/3, 5 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 10Ks) with enough run support to make easy work of a potent Dodgers lineup.
