Giants minor league shortstop Travious Relaford was suspended 100 games without pay Monday for a third positive test for a drug of abuse. 

Relaford is already in the midst of a current 50-game ban, which was handed down to him on Nov. 16, 2015. He cannot start his 100-game suspension until the conclusion of his current ban.

Last season in Class A ball for the Augusta GreenJackets, Relaford hit .237/.313/.292 with one home run. 

Drafted in the 44th round of the 2011 MLB Draft by the Giants out of Hinds Community College, Relaford has appeared in 290 minor league games. He holds a career slash line of .251/.339/.329 with six home runs. 

Relaford is the cousin of former major league infielder Desi Relaford.
