Giants prospect Bishop loves brother Braden's walk-off homer

Braden Bishop

Nobody is a bigger Braden Bishop fan than his younger brother, and Giants prospect, Hunter Bishop.

On Tuesday night, Hunter had the perfect message for all of his brother's naysayers. Braden hit a walk-off solo shot for the Sacramento River Cats, the Giants' Triple-A affiliate, against the Las Vegas Aviators, the A's Triple-A affiliate.

"Thought he couldn't hit tho?" Hunter tweeted.

Braden went 2-for-5 in the win, also singling in the first inning.

His walk-off homer came one night after also showing off what he can do with his glove in the outfield.

The Giants claimed the elder Bishop off waivers from the Seattle Mariners on May 17. He was then designated for assignment on May 22, but cleared waivers and was outrighted to Sacramento on May 26.

He is batting .333 (4-for-12) in his first three games with the River Cats.
