One of the most talked-about pitchers in the Giants' system, Seth Corry, now can call himself a Top 100 prospect.

MLB Pipeline added Corry to their Top 100 prospects list Sunday after Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Gavin Lux graduated from the list. Lux had been the No. 2 overall prospect on the list.

Players lose their status as a prospect when they reach either 130 major-league at-bats or 50 innings pitched.
San Francisco Giants
Corry, a left-handed starter, was taken in the third round of the 2017 MLB Draft. After subpar 2017 and 2018 seasons in the minors, Corry had a breakout 2019 season. He made 26 starts and one relief appearance for Class-A Augusta and posted a sparkling 1.76 ERA. In just 122 2/3 innings, the 21-year-old Corry struck out a whopping 172 batters.
Among Giants prospects, Corry is No. 5 overall in the system, according to MLB Pipeline behind Bart, shortstop Marco Luciano, and outfielders Heliot Ramos and Hunter Bishop. All five are ranked among the top 100 prospects in baseball.
Corry was not among the Giants' 60-man player pool for the 2020 season, so the next time we'll see him pitch in competitive games is 2021.

Interestingly, Corry entered the Top 100 list at No. 100, but already has moved up to No. 99 because Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm graduated from the list a few hours after Lux.
Both Corry and the Giants are on the rise.
