Giants vs. Diamondbacks lineups: Mike Yastrzemski makes major league debut

Share

SAN FRANCISCO -- Outfielder Mac Williamson was DFA'd for the second time this year by the Giants. The team needed to create a roster spot for outfielder Mike Yastrzemski, who was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.

Yaz will make his major league debut playing left field as the Giants face the D-backs for the second game of a three-game series at Oracle Park.

Starting on the mound for the Orange and Black will be Andrew Suárez, who is coming off of a quality start in his season debut with the team. He held the Braves to three runs across six innings. His numbers against the D-backs aren't that luxurious, however. He's carrying a 7.16 ERA with a 1-2 record in three starts against Arizona.

On the other side of the field, Taylor Clarke will start on the bump. He was recently recalled from Triple-A Reno to make his second major league start and third appearance. He earned a three-inning save against the Chicago Cubs on April 20.

Here are how both lineups look for the Saturday matinee. You can follow the action on NBC Sports California or by downloading and streaming on the MyTeams app. First pitch is schedule for 1:05 p.m. PT.
