The Giants welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers to Oracle Park for a massive three-game series this weekend in San Francisco.
Both the Giants and Dodgers are tied for first place in the NL West with identical 85-49 records (.634 winning percentage), setting up one of the biggest series in the history of the rivalry.
This weekend's series will be the second-ever meeting between the two foes, at least 130 games into a season, when both teams have at least a .630 winning percentage.

The only other time was Sept. 3-6, 1962.
The Giants are planning on starting Anthony DeSclafani on Friday while relying on their bullpen for Saturday and Sunday's games with Alex Wood (COVID) and Johnny Cueto (elbow strain) being on the Injured List.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers will counter with Corey Knebel (likely an opener for David Price), Julio Urías and Cy Young candidate Walker Buehler.
