Giants vs. Marlins lineups: Bruce Bochy mixing things up to end losing streak

Share

A week ago, the Giants still had a little bit of hope.

Bruce Bochy's club just needed to finish out their homestand strong before heading out on the road to face the scuffling Miami Marlins.

Things haven't panned out that way.

Following Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Marlins, the Giants now have lost seven straight and have plummeted to 12 games below the .500 mark.

Bochy is doing everything he can to jump-start his club in Thursday's series finale in Miami.

Buster Posey will start the day on the bench, with Stephen Vogt doing the catching and batting second. Pablo Sandoval will hit third and play first, while Brandon Belt will man right field and hit cleanup in support of right-hander Tyler Beede.
