Buster Posey is back behind the dish Thursday in the Giants' series finale against the Pirates at Oracle Park.
Posey will be catching starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija. The duo has fared well this season, too.
Samardzija has a 3.31 ERA in 20 games this season with Posey catching, compared to a 4.93 ERA in seven games as battery mates with Stephen Vogt.

At the plate, Posey looks to continue a strong start to September. After batting just .225 in August, the former MVP has a .368 batting average in six games this month.
