Giants vs. Red Sox lineups: Bruce Bochy seeks 2,000th win at Fenway Park

The Giants play Game 2 of a three-game series at historic Fenway Park after an evening of events that even a movie script couldn't duplicate.

Mike Yastrzemski homered in the Giants' 7-6, 15-inning win on Tuesday night over the Red Sox, rounding the bases on the same field as his Hall of Fame grandfather. The teams also used a combined 24 pitchers to tie an MLB record

Jeff Samardzija will take the mound as Giants manager Bruce Bochy seeks his 2,000th career win. The Shark will face Boston for the first time since 2015 and is 1-2 with a 6.75 ERA in four career starts against the squad.

On the other side of the ball, Jhoulys Chacin will face a Giants lineup that he has he has fared well against. He has gone 9-7 with a 3.06 ERA in 22 starts against San Francisco.

And yes, Grandpa Yaz should be in the stands on Wednesday night.
