Giants vs. Rockies lineups: Madison Bumgarner gets ball at Coors Field

Share

For the first time since April, Madison Bumgarner will take the mound for the Giants without trade rumors swirling around him.

The July 31 trade deadline came and went this past Wednesday, and Bumgarner remained in orange and black.

Now looking to push the Giants to an NL wild-card berth, Bumgarner will get the ball Saturday at Coors Field against the Colorado Rockies hoping to help San Francisco bounce back from the 5-4 loss in the series opener.

New second baseman Scooter Gennett will bat sixth for the Giants, while Steven Duggar gets the nod in center field batting seventh.

The Rockies will hand the ball to right-hander Jon Gray.

Coverage begins at 4:00 p.m. PT with Giants Pregame Live on NBC Sports Bay Area and streaming on the My Teams app.
