Coming off a deflating loss in Philadelphia on Thursday, the Giants have a pair of new faces in their lineup on Friday in Colorado.

Scooter Gennett, acquired from the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday, is playing second base and batting sixth in his Giants debut.

Steven Duggar is back from Triple-A and is giving Kevin Pillar a break in center field.

The Giants made a pair of roster moves Friday to get Gennett and Duggar on the roster. Tyler Austin was designated for assignment and Dereck Rodriguez was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento.

Rookie Shaun Anderson takes the mound and will look to steady the ship for the Giants, who are 2 1/2 games out of an NL wild-card spot.

Coverage begins at 4:30 p.m. PT with Giants Pregame Live on NBC Sports Bay Area and streaming on the My Teams app.
