The Giants (5-9) have a chance to put together their first winning streak of the young season on Friday night.

Coming off a 1-0 win over the Rockies (3-10) on Thursday night, the Giants will send Drew Pomeranz to the mound against Colorado starter Chad Bettis.

Veteran backup Erik Kratz will catch Pomeranz as Buster Posey is getting a night off.

Kevin Pillar will aim to homer in his third straight game, and fourth in five games. The Giants center field has been on a tear lately. In his last four games, Pillar has three homers and 10 RBI. He's tied for the team lead in home runs with Brandon Belt and leads the team in runs driven in.
