LaMonte Wade Jr. barely -- and I mean just barely -- homered over the center field wall in the bottom of the fourth inning Wednesday night.
With the Giants holding a 3-2 lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks, Wade stepped to the plate following a single by pitcher Kevin Gausman and just barely deposited a ball into the garden in straight-away center.
D-backs outfielder Ketel Marte, understandably, was frustrated after nearly robbing Wade of a two-run homer.
The Giants -- pun intended -- caught a huge break, allowing them to pad their lead against a pesky D-backs team.
Wade's homer was his 14th of what has been an incredible season for the 27-year-old.
