Wade Jr.'s mom absolutely loved his homer into McCovey Cove

There was no one happier to see LaMonte Wade Jr. homer Saturday than his mom Emily, who was at Oracle Park for the Giants' game against the Houston Astros.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Wade Jr. drove a four-seam fastball from Zack Greinke over the high right field wall and into McCovey Cove.

Emily Wade just happened to be on the right field arcade and watched the home run ball fly over her head and into the San Francisco Bay.

What a moment for the Wade family.

Emily was so happy and emotional that she could be seen wiping away tears.

Wade Jr.'s breakout season has been one of the best stories surrounding the Giants this year. After hitting just two homers in 42 games with the Minnesota Twins between 2019 and 2020, Wade now has 13 homers in 54 games with San Francisco in 2021.

Less than a week ago, Wade Jr. had his first multi-home game, and he has no intention of slowing down, much to the delight of his mom.
