Logan Webb is inching closer to the lowest ERA among Giants starters after tossing seven shutout innings in a 5-0 win over the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park on Saturday night.
Webb continued his run of dominance, and now has allowed two or fewer earned runs in 13 straight starts, dating back to May 11.

After Saturday's outing, Webb now has a 2.65 ERA this season, trailing only Kevin Gausman's 2.49 ERA.
Webb was in such control of the Braves that he recorded a rare three-pitch inning in the fourth. After hitting Travis d'Arnaud, Webb got Adam Duvall to ground into a 4-6-3 double play on the next pitch. Joc Pederson flew out to left field on the first pitch he saw.
The last time a Giants hurler had a three-pitch inning? Madison Bumgarner on Aug 14, 2010 (H/T The Mercury News' Kerry Crowley).
Webb allowed just five hits and walked one, while striking out six.
The 24-year-old pitcher also helped his own cause at the plate, doubling down the left field line in the third inning, and later scoring on a sacrifice fly by Tommy La Stella.
La Stella made the final out of the Giants' loss to the Braves on Friday night, but got a bit of redemption in the first inning a day later, as he crushed a solo homer off Atlanta pitcher Huascar Ynoa to get the scoring started.
Mike Yastrzemski equaled his career high with his team-leading 21st homer in the top of the seventh inning to pad the Giants' lead.
This was the kind of bounce-back performance the Giants needed after a tough loss a night earlier. and maybe more importantly, Webb continues to show that he's someone the team can continue to count on as the pressure ratchets up in September and October.
