Mac Williamson posts emotional Instagram after stellar Giants return

Mac Williamson had himself a game.

In his big-league return with the Giants, the outfielder went 2-for-4 with a home run and drove in four runs in Tuesday's 14-4 win over the Rockies in Denver.

Following the game, Giants manager Bruce Bochy sang Willamson's praises.

"You have to be encouraged," Bochy said. "These guys are starting to see the ball better and swing better. Mac is going to give us depth and more power. It's got a little more fear factor, that's fair to say, with Mac in there."

Williamson's thoughts following the game weren't that of fear, but he did take to Instagram on Wednesday morning to display his emotions. Perhaps after it all sunk in ...

Johnny Cueto, Willamson's girlfriend Kaitlyn and many others commented on the post and gave Mac some job well-done words. Kaitlyn's were a little more romantic, however.

No offense, Cueto.

It appears Williamson is making it his duty to not take advantage of this recent opportunity that was presented to him. He even makes sure to stress this was only "one good game," but it was a needed game.

Not just for him but for the Giants as well.
