In case you've been living under a rock, Madison Bumgarner and Yasiel Puig don't really like each other.
Their rivalry developed over the last six seasons while Puig was a member of the Dodgers.
But if you thought their feud would cool down with Puig now on the Cincinnati Reds, you were mistaken.
Exhibit A: Sunday afternoon at Oracle Park.
In the top of the sixth inning, Puig hit a 91 mph fastball from Bumgarner 388 feet for a solo home run.

Puig has never faced a pitcher more than he has Bumgarner. In 46 career at-bats against the Giants ace entering Sunday, Puig had just two home runs. Now he has three.
After the Giants' comeback 6-5 win over the Reds, Bumgarner was asked about Puig's latest home run.
Bumgarner on Puig’s homer on a fastball in: “He’s a quick study. It only took him seven years to learn how to hit that pitch.”

Ouch.
Puig got the first laugh on Sunday, but Bumgarner got the last.
With Sunday's game being the final time the Giants and Reds will meet during the regular season, we won't get to see the two players face each other again in 2019 ... unless the Giants trade Bumgarner in July.
