Giants' Dubon does Bauer sword after homering off Kershaw

The Giants didn't waste any time Sunday jumping all over Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw in the first inning, and Mauricio Dubon didn't waste any time adding some heat to the storied rivalry.

Dubon hit a deep blast off the left field foul pole against Kershaw, giving the Giants an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning. As Dubon crossed home plate, that's when he added fuel to the fire. The Giants' utility man mocked Trevor Bauer's sword celebration, catching the eyes of Giants fans across social media.

Bauer pulled off the celebration in his first start against the Giants this season after striking out Alex Dickerson in the fourth inning.

The 2020 NL CY Young winner quickly embraced the role of villain in the rivalry, and Dubon is here to crank it up a notch.

Dubon's two-run shot was his 11th career home run and his second off Kershaw. It also was the first time Kershaw allowed a home run in the first inning since 2019.

The Giants are looking to win their third straight against the Dodgers for a big series win, and certainly are having fun in doing so.
