Another NL West team might be affecting the Dodgers' push for Harper, and the Phillies' concerns, as well.
The Rockies reportedly agreed to a monster eight-year, $260 million contract extension with Southern California native Nolan Arenado on Tuesday. If the Dodgers truly had hopes of adding him in the future, that now leaves room for Harper, who wants over $300 million, on the budget.
