While the Giants were taking on the Pirates on Sunday, the San Diego Padres reportedly were busy poaching an All-Star off Pittsburgh's roster.
During the eighth inning of the Giants' eventual 6-1 win over the Pirates, ESPN's Jeff Passan reported, citing sources, that the Padres were set to acquire Adam Frazier from Pittsburgh.
Frazier, one of the handful of hitters in MLB hitting over .300 this season, was seen collecting his bats in the visitors dugout at Oracle Park and heading into the clubhouse.

The Pirates reportedly are getting three minor leaguers from the Padres for Frazier, with Tucupita Marcano headlining the group. The 21-year-old infielder is San Diego's No. 5 ranked prospect according to MLB Pipeline.
Frazier, 29, earned his first All-Star selection this season. After going 0-for-4 on Sunday against the Giants, he is hitting .324/.388/.448 with 28 doubles, four homers and 32 RBI this season.
The Padres were expected to contend for the National League pennant entering the season and still are in position to make the playoffs, but they trail the Giants by 5 1/2 games in the NL West after Sunday's action.

San Diego needed a shot in the arm, and the addition of Frazier likely will do that. He can play multiple positions and will fit in perfect at the top of the Padres' lineup.
With the MLB trade deadline approaching on Friday, the Giants might be forced to react to the move by the Padres.
