When it came to the Giants acquiring outfielder Mike Gerber from the Tigers, Twitter did its due diligence to mine through his old tweets.
And what did they discover? Well, Gerber was a huge Taylor Swift fan back in the day.

Like a normal person, Gerber would wish T-Swift a happy birthday -- that's the standard. But he also complimented her during a Grammy appearance, called her "AMAZING" and even watched her on an episode of "Punk'd" while doing a fantasy football draft.
Talk about dedication.
