The Giants have their first series win over the rival Los Angeles Dodgers this season, thanks to the bat of Buster Posey and the legs of Steven Duggar.

The veteran catcher drove in the speedy outfielder with a single to left field in the bottom of the ninth inning, and gave San Francisco a 2-1 walk-off win over LA on Wednesday at Oracle Park. Posey stepped up to the plate with two on and two outs, and eventually worked a 3-1 count off of Dodgers reliever Pedro Baez.

Duggar ran as soon as Posey made contact, and beat out the throw from Dodgers left fielder Chris Taylor.

San Francisco's rally began with Duggar's single to center. That hit represented a first for the 25-year-old.

Posey, meanwhile, found himself in a familiar position: at the plate late in the game, with a chance to walkoff the Dodgers. He also stayed red hot.

The 32-year-old hit his first home run since offseason hip surgery on April 21, and now has another walk-off hit under his belt. And the Giants have a win over their biggest rivals under theirs.
