Young Giants fan goes viral for trying to ‘hex' D-backs

Whatever Ella Tarantino was doing during Wednesday night’s Giants-Diamondbacks game, it appeared to work.

The camera caught Ella in the crowd with her parents, Jim and Diane, and her brother, Aiden.

Ella appeared to be putting hexes on the D-backs ... and it was very effective.

With Ella's hex, the Giants held on to a sixth-inning lead, where pitcher Kevin Gausman struck out Daulton Varsho to end a threat from the D-backs.

The Giants won 7-1 with nine hits and two home runs, including a three-run home run by Alex Dickerson in the top of the seventh inning.

Ella was back at Chase Field on Thursday for the Giants' afternoon game against the D-backs, where she received autographed hat from Mike Yastrzemski, her favorite player.

Ella went viral across social media platforms, and probably will be asked for some more magical favors in the near future.

Perhaps during playoffs, the Giants could request her services again.

For now, the Giants' record is 1-0 with this young fan putting hexes on opponents, and hope to make it 2-0 with a win on Thursday.
