Chuck confidently predicts Kings beat Dubs, reach West finals

Charles Barkley is doubling down on the Kings advancing past the Golden State Warriors in their first-round NBA playoff series.

After NBA Twitter roasted the TNT analyst for his Game 5 prediction, in which he picked Sacramento to win in blowout fashion only for the Warriors to secure a rare road win, Barkley is sticking with the Kings.

And Barkley isn't only predicting that the Kings will knock out the defending NBA champions -- he also sees Sacramento defeating the Los Angeles Lakers, who await the winner of Game 7 between the Kings and Warriors, to clinch a Western Conference finals berth.

"The Sacramento Kings are going to the conference finals," Barkley told Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O'Neal on Saturday during TNT's "Inside the NBA." "They're going to beat the Lakers."

Johnson did share a couple of Game 7 statistics with Barkley, noting that home teams are 110-35 as they win 76 percent of the games. However, Johnson added that road teams had won four of the last six Game 7's in the previous two years.

All the information provided by his TNT colleagues didn't sway Barkley in any way, as he remains adamant that the Kings will be lighting several beams after Sunday.

For Sacramento's sake, many hope that Barkley is spot on with his prediction this time.
