Damian Lillard's Marvin Bagley diss track brings fire to NBA offseason

Marvin Bagley wanted a rap battle and, well, he got one.

The Kings youngster challenged Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, who might be as good a rapper as he is an NBA player, during a Thursday appearance on ESPN’s “First Take.” Lillard gladly accepted, and it took him mere hours to throw one helluva haymaker on his Soundcloud page.

“Amateur bars, man. Grown-man bars is something you got to deal with. So, all this elaborated, fabricated ain’t going to equal up to this real s--t.”

And away Lillard goes, with a 2-minute diss track that lit up Twitter.

Blazers teammates Evan Turner and Meyers Leonard left no doubt what they thought of Dame’s lyrics, as did the team’s Twitter account.

Evidently, Bagley dropped his own track earlier Thursday, although it didn’t receive quite the attention that Lillard’s did.

Lillard heard it, nonetheless, and the Oakland native wasn’t playing.
