The Kings received encouraging news on Tuesday regarding star guard De'Aaron Fox.
Fox will miss Sacramento's clash against the Miami Heat on Wednesday with a bone bruise, but the team announced that an MRI revealed no other structural damage to his knee.
Shams Charania of The Athletic first reported the news and added that the guard could return to action soon.

His knee will be reevaluated throughout the week.
Fox suffered the knee injury in the second quarter of the Kings' 115-108 comeback win over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night. He briefly returned later in the quarter before being replaced again and soon after being ruled out for the game.
In Fox's absence, Davion Mitchell and Matthew Dellavedova stepped up at point guard.
Dellavedova scored his first points of the season on a 3-pointer in the third quarter to give Sacramento its first lead of the game at 79-77. Mitchell contributed a season-high 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting, more production than he gave the Kings over the first five games of the season combined (22 points).

Following Wednesday's tilt against the Heat, the Kings will have two full days of rest before taking on the Orlando Magic on Saturday.
It's unclear whether Fox will be ready to play this weekend, but the 2-4 Kings will take their star guard back as soon as possible.
