Fox was listed as questionable due to a lower back strain he suffered Monday night against the Miami Heat.

The Sacramento Kings are rolling, but they might have to battle the Orlando Magic shorthanded Tuesday evening at the Amway center.

Late in their win over the Miami Heat Monday evening, point guard De’Aaron Fox was in noticeable discomfort moving up and down the floor. The second-year point guard is listed as questionable with a lower back strain, giving him a 50 percent of suiting up in Orlando.

If he can’t play, Fox will join Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) and Iman Shumpert (load management) on the sidelines for Sacramento. He’ll likely be replaced in the starting lineup by either Frank Mason or Yogi Ferrell.

Fox is off to a hot start, averaging 18 points, 7.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game. In his rookie campaign, Fox broke the 20 point scoring mark just five times. Through seven games this season, he’s already accomplished the feat four times.

Shumpert has played in all but one of the Kings games so far this season after seeing action in 14 games last year due to knee and plantar fasciitis issues. The veteran wing is averaging 10 points and 2.8 rebounds in 22 minutes a game. Justin Jackson will likely step into the starting lineup with Shumpert taking a night off.
