Sorry Kings fans, but your team is never winning an NBA title.
Well, according to rapper Ja Rule, that is. He stole The Based God's mojo of cursing NBA teams and put a hex on the Kings.
Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox was not having it and responded to the rapper a few hours later.
You need to curse Milwaukee 😂😂 “Are we reeeeaaaddddyyyy...I guess not” facea** https://t.co/AtGz85FSaU— De'Aaron Fox (@swipathefox) February 26, 2019
Then Fox dug up The Based God's tweet from 2017 listing the NBA teams that have his blessing.
What caused Ja Rule to put a curse on the surprising Kings?
It all started Saturday night when the Minnesota Timberwolves sent out a tweet mocking Ja Rule.
We too were hustled, scammed, bamboozled, hood winked, lead astray!!! pic.twitter.com/l9rhElC52d— Minnesota Timberwolves (@Timberwolves) February 24, 2019
He responded by cursing the T'Wolves.
You just jinx yourself talking to the GOD this way... your CURSED NOW!!! You won’t win a championship for the next 30 years... AND KAT IS LEAVING!!! Apologize and I’ll lift the CURSE!!! 😘 kiss of death... https://t.co/RzUn4vKx2Y— Ja Rule (@jarule) February 24, 2019
Then, after they lost to the T'Wolves on Monday night, the Kings poked fun at Ja Rule's curse, noting that it didn't work on the T'Wolves.
WHERE IS JA?! pic.twitter.com/27BTCbaecD— Sacramento Kings (@SacramentoKings) February 26, 2019
Early Tuesday morning, Ja Rule responded by placing the curse on the Kings.
Now, it's up to the Kings to prove Ja Rule wrong and win a title in the next few years.
