The Kings' home back-to-back with the Memphis Grizzlies and Brooklyn Nets is a difficult two-game set, but it just got a little easier.
Kevin Durant has been ruled out for Monday's game in Sacramento with a mild left hamstring strain, the Nets announced Sunday.
Durant also will miss Brooklyn's road game against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.
Durant, who missed three games this past week while in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, returned to action Saturday night against the Warriors and finished with 20 points, six assists and five rebounds in the Nets' 134-117 win.
It's unclear exactly when Durant suffered the injury. There was no sign that he tweaked anything during the game against his former team and there was no mention of an ailment after the game.

Taking down the Nets still will be a tall task for the Kings on Monday night, but now they only have to try to contain two NBA superstars (James Harden and Kyrie Irving), not three.
