Mike Brown knows the sky is the limit for De'Aaron Fox.
Speaking to reporters Tuesday, the Kings' coach explained how he knows Fox is destined for great things in the NBA if Kentucky product continues on his trajectory and, more importantly, believes the 25-year-old is a "great human being."
"And so for me, with Foxy, I feel like he definitely has earned it, deserved everything that he has coming his way," Brown said. "He has a chance to be elite. I've been around some elite players and they just have something inside of them as well as all the other stuff, the skillset, the talent and all that."
For Brown to say that Fox has a chance to be one of the league's absolute best players should give the All-Star guard incredible confidence heading into the 2023-24 NBA season.
Brown has been around some of the best players in NBA history, such as Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, to name a few.
And although Brown understands that the road for his young guard will only get more difficult, he knows Fox is up to the challenge.

"It's going to be harder for him to get to that point but I think he is more than capable and I'm just excited to be a part of his journey, especially as close up as I am in trying to help him get there," Brown said.
"Because when he does, Sacramento will be on fire."
Fox certainly took a step forward in the 2022-23 NBA season, helping lead the Kings to a magical season, snapping an NBA-record 16-season playoff drought. For his efforts, Fox was named this season's NBA's Clutch Player of the Year, beating out the likes of the Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler and Chicago Bulls' DeMar DeRozan.

With Sacramento now focusing on the offseason and what it can improve heading into next year, all eyes surely will be on the Kings' dynamic duo of Fox and Domantas Sabonis.
However, if Fox can take the next step to become an elite player, this could be the start of the Kings' success.
